Before Direct Deal becomes available
Direct Deal should only appear after there has been meaningful conversation in chat. It is not meant to replace normal protected checkout for every transaction.
Use chat first to confirm expectations, scope, price direction, and whether you even want to proceed with the same seller.
What happens after unlock
Once the waiver is accepted and the unlock fee is processed, the seller's direct contact details can be revealed.
From there, the transaction may continue privately, which means IVOTIA has much more limited visibility and protection compared with an escrow order.
