How to create a listing

Create a real IVOTIA product listing by completing the product wizard, adding media, inventory, pricing, and shipping details, and then saving as a draft or publishing.

What this article covers

On IVOTIA, the generic Create Listing flow is mainly the product-listing wizard. Service sellers follow a separate service-listing flow with service-specific fields such as delivery time, revisions, and buyer requirements.

Use this page when you are creating a product listing. If you want to offer a service, use the separate How to create a service listing article instead.

Before you start

You need the correct seller profile before IVOTIA will let you continue. Product listings are tied to the vendor/store seller path rather than the freelancer/service path.

Prepare the basics first: a clear product title, the correct category and subcategory, a real selling price, and product images that actually show what the buyer will receive.

Step 1: add the core listing details

The first step collects the essentials: listing type, title, category, subcategory, and description. Buyers use these details in search, category browsing, and listing previews, so accuracy matters immediately.

Choose the category carefully, because category-specific attributes and form rules depend on that choice. A weak or misleading category choice makes the rest of the listing harder to trust and harder to discover.

Step 2: complete attributes, FAQs, and extra specs

IVOTIA then asks for structured product details. Some of these fields come from the selected category schema, and they matter more than free-form notes because buyers can compare them more easily.

You can also add FAQs and custom specifications. Each FAQ needs both a question and an answer, and each custom spec needs both a name and a value. Empty or half-filled rows are ignored or blocked from progressing cleanly.

Step 3: upload product images

The product wizard supports up to 5 images. The first image becomes the strongest cover, so use a clean and accurate main image first.

Use real product photos or other truthful visuals. The gallery should help buyers understand condition, scale, style, and what is actually included.

Step 4: set price, stock, and fulfilment

For products, IVOTIA asks for price, optional compare-at price, stock quantity, unit, SKU, and physical-product shipping details where relevant. The price must stay within the current IVOTIA pricing policy for the selected currency.

If the product is physical, you must set the shipping class and choose the fulfilment mode. IVOTIA currently supports platform-arranged shipping, seller-managed shipping with per-country rates, or free shipping. Physical products cannot go active without the required shipping setup, and product listings cannot go active without stock quantity of at least 1 unless the system explicitly treats stock as unlimited.

Review, draft, and publish

The last review step lets you check the full listing before submission. From there, you can either save it as a draft or publish it as active.

A draft keeps the listing out of the public marketplace until you are ready. Publishing sends the finished listing forward with the product data IVOTIA needs, and after a successful submit the app redirects you to the product page for that listing.

Common reasons a product listing fails to go active

The most common blockers are missing required category fields, no usable images, invalid pricing, missing stock, or incomplete shipping information for a physical product.

If the listing saves as a draft but cannot go active cleanly, review the product-specific requirements again before trying to publish.
